Planning Initiatives
As a continuation of GCR’s extensive urban and regional planning expertise, the firm has been involved with numerous recovery-related planning projects. These projects utilize the same analytical and demographic assessment skills required of all planning assignments.
- Representation of Orleans, Jefferson, St. Bernard, Plaquemines, and St. Tammany Parishes on policy related to Public Assistance projects, the Road Home, and the Hazard Mitigation Grant Program
- District coordination, data management, and GIS support for the Unified New Orleans Plan (UNOP) process
